ASIA faces risks from rising protectionism, but veteran fund manager Elizabeth Soon is bullish on manufacturers deeply embedded into the supply chain of well-known international brand names.
Ms Soon, portfolio manager of Asia ex-Japan equities at PineBridge Investments, told The Business Times that she likes efficient and dominant companies which can do well regardless of political worries over trade.
