Vietnam's GDP growth to accelerate to 6.7% in 2016: premier
[HANOI] Vietnam has targeted its economy to expand 6.7 per cent in 2016, after this year posting the quickest growth in five years estimated at above 6.5 per cent, the prime minister said on Tuesday.
The Southeast Asian country will aim to keep annual inflation at below 5 per cent in 2016, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung told the National Assembly's opening session.
The government has also targeted annual economic expansion of between 6.5-7.0 per cent over the next five years, Dung said, in line with the 2016-2020 growth target mapped by the ruling Communist Party.
