Women workers hold key to boosting Asian growth, says ADB

AS growth slows across "emerging" Asia and other developing regions and without conventional economic or financial remedies at hand to reverse the situation, more official voices are urging the use of woman power to bolster performance.
The latest to join the chorus is the Asian Development Bank (ADB), which suggested in a report on Tuesday that Asia and the Pacific could see income rise by nearly a third within a generation, with the adoption of more progressive attitudes towards women at work.
