WTO ready to talk it out as US changes policy
Economists and industry groups fear global trade war if the US signals it will not comply with WTO decisions

WORLD Trade Organization chief Roberto Azevedo extended an olive branch to Washington on Thursday after President Donald Trump's administration announced the US was not bound by WTO rulings.
The US decision marks a clear break from the past and could threaten the viability of the WTO's Dispute Settlement Body (DSB), where major trade conflicts are often adjudicated.
