THE skills-development and job-placement programme introduced during this year's Budget will go a long way to build a world-class infocomm workforce in Singapore, said Minister for Communications and Information Yaacob Ibrahim on Friday.
The initiative, called TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA) will be the "umbrella framework" for training programmes in information and communications (ICT) and career development for ICT professionals, he announced at the Nanyang Polytechnic School of Information Technology graduation ceremony.
