Yellen and China trade data boost markets

ASIAN markets rose on Thursday after US Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen delivered her semi-annual testimony to Congress and was perceived to be inclined towards a slower rate hike path amid a recovering US economy.
Gold inched up and bond yields fell. The day before, US stocks had risen to record highs. European stocks, which had also rallied, continued their advance.
