Women in charge

These women meant business when they took up The Business Times’s request for a photo shoot in the middle of Singapore’s Central Business District. Even though it was a weekend, they showed up in their business outfits, and were so focused that they wrapped up the shoot in under 30 minutes. Epitomising the emboldened spirit of today’s women, they are also a reflection of how far economic empowerment of women has come in Singapore. In line with this year’s International Women’s Day campaign theme, “Be Bold for Change”, they tell us how Singapore society has advanced for women, and the changes they hope to see for all women in the coming years.
