THE biggest tennis tournament in Singapore is back for its fourth edition this weekend, and more companies are snapping up VIP hospitality tickets to catch the likes of Venus Williams and new world No 1 Simona Halep in action.
Close to 90 per cent of the total inventory of 9,350 tickets to the Racquet Club have already been sold to date, says Lagardere Sports, the event promoter of the BNP Paribas Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Finals presented by SC Global tournament.
The Racquet Club is the corporate hospitality programme of the annual tournament, which features the top eight singles and doubles teams competing for a share of the US$7 million prize purse. It is also the name of the bespoke two-storey glass-fronted pavilion that has been built next to the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, where the matches will be played from Oct 22 to Oct 29.
