IT was a work of passion which subsequently led to a cult following in Hong Kong.

Elmo Chung's first painting on a polished seashell was done for her boyfriend, fashion designer Benny Yuen.

Mr Yuen was not only touched but also surprised to see how beautiful it was - even though the Hongkonger has no formal training in art and design.
