Charities were active in the past week as Christmas nears

More than S$16 million was raised worldwide by markets operator and provider of post trade risk mitigation and information services ICAP plc on its 22nd annual global Charity Day. On ICAP Charity Day, 100 per cent of its revenue and brokers' commissions from the day go directly to charities. This year, ICAP is supporting 200 charities globally. In Singapore, ICAP employees raised funds for seven local institutions: The President's Challenge, Ain Society, Down Syndrome Association (Singapore), Inspirasia, KK Women and Children's Hospital, Singapore Management University and SPD.
