Lighting up cycling safety in a big way

IF there's one sport that has united The Business Times newsroom, it's cycling. At least, for me.
In my first year with the paper, some 16 of us took part in The Business Times Charity Challenge, a 39-kilometre bike ride as part of OCBC Cycle Singapore 2014. To my wonderment then, I discovered several avid cyclists among my colleagues.
Last week, I showed them the Lumos Helmet, a smart bike helmet designed by Singaporean Ding Eu-Wen. The Lumos recently won the Beazley Transport Design of the Year, an esteemed award handed out by the London Design Museum.
