Hunger Games in pole position with US$258.2m in takings

AUDIENCES are continuing to feast on the latest Hunger Games movie, the top-grossing film in North America for a third straight week, according to industry figures released on Monday.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, starring Jennifer Lawrence as rebellious Katniss Everdeen, grossed US$22 million last weekend, boosting its total haul so far to US$258.2 million, according to box-office tracker Exhibitor Relations.
