JAZZ maestro and Cultural Medallion recipient Jeremy Monteiro has been named the new music director of ChildAid. Under his direction, this year's annual children's charity fundraiser will have a more jazzy and intimate feel.

Monteiro, 55, says: "We are bringing together some of the brightest young musicians, vocalists and performers from Singapore and around the region. It will be a fantastic showcase of young talents performing their renditions and interpretations of popular, jazz and classical music."
