Jordan battling to rescue its key earner tourism

Tourists at the ruins of Jabal Al-Qala'a (The Castle Mountain) in the capital Amman. Many visitors have stayed away because of the raging violence in neighbouring Iraq and Syria.


NATURAL wonders it has in abundance, but natural resources are lacking. And now one of Jordan's main money-earners - tourism - is being killed off by regional conflicts.
