Korean golfers continue to dazzle
Wang Jeung Hun's recent Qatar triumph borders on the sensational.
THE current rave in South Korean golf is Wang Jeung Hun, who plays on the men's Tour.
Surprised? After having seen and read about the successes of the Korean lasses on the LPGA Tour over the past two decades, you would be. It has indeed become par for the course for Korean women golfers to gain Major success since Pak Se Ri opened the way in the mid 1990s, and then went on to win the US PGA Championship in 1998.
The 39-year-old made her pro debut in 1988 and collected a fabulous haul of 25 LPGA Tour victories and five Major triumphs, interpersed with three PGA Championships, a US Open win and British Open glory.
