BINTAN, with its proximity to Singapore and its superb resorts and golf courses, has long been a favourite for golfers looking to play for the day or for a stay-and-play package.
Now they have even more reason to visit, with the recent redesign of Laguna Golf Bintan and the launch of the SPH Golf Card membership at Laguna Bintan Golf Club.
Originally designed by Greg Norman, the Laguna Golf Bintan course first opened in June 1998 and in June last year, it commenced a redesign and extensive renovation. This has involved flipping its front nine with its back nine to feature stronger finishing holes with the highlight holes now at 16 and 17. The club also wanted to bring the new 18th green closer to the clubhouse terrace.
