MAPLETREE Investments, which made its maiden foray into the United Kingdom's student-housing market last year, will run its first student-outreach roadshow in the last weekend of this month. Called "Home & Away with Mapletree", the July 28-30 event at VivoCity Singapore will give away fleece jackets to Singapore citizens and permanent residents who are studying in the United Kingdom, or about to start their tertiary education there.
The Singapore-based real estate development, investment and capital management company counts education as a key pillar of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, which seeks to build long-term relationships with its community.
