[SINGAPORE] With Singapore Grand Prix's deal to host Formula One races due to expire after next year's night race, Minister for Trade and Industry S Iswaran has said more time is needed for the business' new owners before an agreement can be struck with the Republic.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi-Singapore joint forum on Monday, Mr Iswaran feels that there is no need to rush in the negotiations as Liberty Media's takeover of the sport from CVC Capital, first announced two weeks ago, had yet to be finalised.
