More than 6,000 bags containing essential food items were given out to underprivileged seniors and families in support of SG Cares.

UNDERPRIVILEDGED seniors and families had an early start to the Chinese New Year festivities with over 6,000 fu dais - "bags of blessings and joy" - distributed islandwide from Feb 2-3.
It is the first large-scale volunteering event for the Community Chest in support of SG Cares this year and it was co-organised with Heartwarmers, a ground-up volunteering group.
