Skills-matching volunteering programme at PwC
SINCE the launch of a new skills-based volunteering programme aimed at matching the skill sets of staff with the right organisations, PwC has seen over 40 charitable and welfare organisations sign up.
These include the Singapore Children's Society, Young Men's Christian Association of Singapore (YMCA), Singapore Red Cross, The Salvation Army, Alzheimer's Disease Association (Singapore), and Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE). These organisations will be receiving over 4,000 hours of pro bono training, services and mentoring in areas relating to corporate governance, financial planning/prudence and accounting, financial documentation preparation and review, and related areas.
