The business of getting fit
With short high-intensity workouts, Ritual allows time-starved clients to be in and out in half an hour
THERE doesn't seem to be any lack of options when it comes to finding a gym to get a workout done these days. Even in land-scarce Singapore, scores of gyms both big and small are opening across the island - be it in the Central Business District or in the heartlands - on a regular basis.
One of the up-and-coming players in this competitive industry is Ritual Gym, a boutique gym that prides itself on its unique 20-minute HIIT (high-intensity interval training) concept.
Each client gets his own 40 sq ft "pod" with kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, a suspension trainer and pull-up rings. There are four levels of progression, which means the sessions can be tailored to all levels of ability.
