CO-WORKING spaces are no longer the casual, bohemian, hot-desking -with-beanbags setup that they used to be. As millennials get older and more sophisticated, and more players come into the picture, shared spaces have evolved into upscale operations housing entrepreneurs, SMEs and even larger companies. In Friday's issue of Weekend magazine, we look at how co-working spaces may be the offices of the future.

We also talk to Gentle Bones, aka Joel Tan - Singapore's breakout musical star who talks about his dizzying ride to the top and how he keeps his feet on the ground.

On the arts side, immerse yourself in the Singapore Theatre Festival, which returns with a strong line-up of plays exploring racism, the media, foreign workers and other pertinent issues.

If you're lamenting the end of the skiing season, worry not. You can just about make it for the last blast of powder snow at Kiroro - Hokkaido's secret gem. And finally, fill up on Chinese traditional cuisine at Circa 1912 - a new restaurant opening in May.
