Tokyo Olympic panel to drop copied logo

    TOKYO'S 2020 Olympics organisers on Tuesday scrapped the controversial design of the event's logo on the back of accusations that it had been plagiarised.

    The committee said at a press conference that it would now seek new design ideas and provide information on the selection process "soon".
