UOB's charity art auction draws S$750,000

ON Tuesday night, UOB raised S$750,000 for charity in just 20 minutes through the brisk auction of an ink painting by Singapore artist Gong Yao Min.
Held during UOB's annual Chinese New Year Commercial Banking client dinner at the Pan Pacific Hotel, the auction drew fast and furious bidding from the 500-strong crowd.
