A Christmas Carol, Grimm's Fairy Tales and Red Riding Hood: Take the youngsters for a night out at the theatre with three shows lined up in the next couple of weeks. Celebrate Yuletide early with the familiar Dickens tale about a stingy man and the lessons he learns from the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future in A Christmas Carol performed by Canada's Dufflebag Theatre Company and staged by ACT 3 International. Over at the Drama Centre, musical versions of popular Grimm's fairy tales like Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, The Valiant Little Tailor and more will be staged. Last but not least, the Singapore Repertory Theatre performs Little Red Riding Hood with a twist, by London's award-winning writing duo Jake Brunger and Pippa Cleary.

A Christmas Carol runs from Nov 2 to Nov 17, at 10am and 2.30pm on weekdays and at 11am and 4pm on weekends, at Act 3 Theatre on 126 Cairnhill Road. Tickets cost $25 for weekdays and $28 for weekends.
