>Stage Poor Thing: Citizen journalism, road rage and social media - The Necessary Stage explores these three aspects of local society in its latest production, Poor Thing. The play boasts a unique twist by making use of social media to interact with its audience. The day before the performance, audience members will be contacted via email and asked to watch a video clip of an accident. As the play progresses, more clips will be uploaded online for the audience to watch. Poor Thing runs till March 2 and from March 5 to March 9 at the Necessary Stage Black Box. >Concert Odysseys: Join the tze n Looking Glass Orchestra on an Odyssey this weekend as they play a blend of film scores, Jazz, Indian, Chinese and European music. The contemporary Asia fusion ensemble will also explore a unique mix of music inspired by anime and even video games. Conducted by Christoph Wichert, the performance will feature orchestral works by award-winning composer-pianist Tze Toh. The exhibtion will feature photographs that are part of an on-going project to capture the world's cities in all their grandeur. This includes pictures of some of the most famous global landmarks and cities such as the Golden Gate Bridge and the Eiffel Tower.
