CATHERINE Sng is 64 and not shy to declare: "I'm still having sex with my husband. In fact, it's better now than ever because I don't worry about getting pregnant. These days, we have as much sex as we want... Yes, I love sex. You can print that in the newspaper."
Sng, like the other straight-talking 60something actors in the upcoming play Pioneer (Girls) Generation, doesn't turn red at the mention of sex. She can't, since the play itself has quite a number of bawdy jokes, including a couple about nuns and Fifty Shades of Grey.
Written by Haresh Sharma and directed by Alvin Tan, Pioneer (Girls) Generation looks at the lives of four retirees living out their golden years in a fictitious upmarket retirement village in Singapore.
