RIDE plays Singapore for the first time this Sunday at the two-day music and arts festival Neon Lights. But fans of the indie English band be warned - it could also be their last time together.

Formed in 1988, they split up in 1996 at the height of their fame after releasing just four albums. And although they only got back together late last year, founding member and singer-guitarist Mark Gardener says they play every show like it's their final one.

"Because we are aware of having crashed spectacularly the first time, it's kind of stupid to make plans - life has its own ways," he explains. "Our minds are in the here and now - I want to be in the moment - and only after (the current tour ends in) December then we'll start thinking."
