Lights, camera, online action!
Get your video filmed online from any location globally.
NEED a ride? Or some help getting your laundry done? Need food? Flowers? A repairman? No problem, there are apps for all that. These days, you can get just about anything done on the Internet with the wide array of on-demand services just a click away. And for entrepreneur Tim Norton, his vision is to do the same for the world of video-making.
No, he isn't talking about the kind of point-and-shoot 15-second home videos you can make on your iPhone. Instead, he wants to give any layman access to film directors, video editors, production managers, professional lighting - the works. That's when 90 Seconds was born - a startup that connects users with film industry creatives from any other part of the world, via a web-based platform and smartphone app.
"Creatives want work, they want paid gigs ... 90 Seconds enables someone to come in, buy a video, order shoots anywhere in the world, plan the whole process, and work with these creatives on the platform. Then the shoots will be run by local shooters who will update the images as they go along. Plus, all the information that's normally stored in emails and documents is now more structured," explains Mr Norton.
