Add to 100 years of our history
CROWDSOURCING isn't always about money. For one of the latest projects by National Library, it's about getting information from the public.
Since March, the National Library has made the new annotated edition of Song Ong Siang's seminal book, One Hundred Years' History Of The Chinese In Singapore, available online for reading and download. The library is also inviting the public to add on to the annotation edition that was completed last year.
The annotated edition is the first time the book, which was started in 1919 and published in 1923, has been updated. The original book is no longer in print, with the last reprint done in 1984.
