WHAT comes to mind when you think of Paris? City of love? Music and wine? Or a city of strikes and rude baguette-carrying locals?
There is no shortage of stereotypes when it comes to the French - in fact, there are probably enough to make up a cabaret production. Behold, A Singaporean in Paris - a production by Sing'theatre which enjoyed a successful sell-out debut in 2010, and which will be restaged at the School Of The Arts (SOTA) Drama Theatre next week.
A Singaporean in Paris is a musical comedy following the story of a Singaporean artist, played by comedian Hossan Leong, who goes to Paris with dreams of "making it big" in the City of Light.
