A Seven special
WANT a Mini that stands out even more?
Mini has unveiled a special edition of its Cooper and Cooper S models. Called the Mini Seven, its name is a tribute to the classic Austin Seven and Morris Mini Minor sister models launched in August 1959.
On the outside, the Mini Seven offers paint finishes previously available only from the bespoke Mini Yours programme.
One of them is Lapisluxury Blue, a non-metallic finish of the most intensive blue tone ever applied on a Mini.
This paint was originally produced by adding fine pigment traces of the semi-precious stone lapis lazuli.
Other exterior cosmetic enhances include contrasting colour roof and mirror caps, and bonnet stripes and exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the interior is enhanced by dark cottonwood trim, with malt brown accents flanking the centre console on the door panels. Higher-grade nappa leather is also used for the upholstery.
The Mini Seven special edition carries a S$2,000 premium over the normal Mini.
