The best thing about the Audi S3 Sedan has to be its breath-taking performance but the worst thing, for an owner at least, must be that it looks like a dressed up A3 saloon.

The S3 has a muscular 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that channels 290 hp and 380 Nm to all four wheels permanently in typical quattro fashion.

In an update of this compact premium performance model, the power and torque are now delivered via a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission, up one gear ratio from the previous six-speeder.
