East-West design harmony
Oriental and European influences come together beautifully in this semi-detached home
Interior designer Sarah Tham remembers when a potential client put her thrrough 2 tests before he would let her design his home.
This was a few years ago, says the founder of Cube Associate Design, who was unfazed and even pleasantly surprised by the conditions even though “no client has ever tested me before.”
With over 20 years of experience behind her, she naturally aced them both. One test was to design a study that looked like a cross between Winston Churchill and Ralph Lauren, while the other was to design a helper’s room.
