In Singapore, where most food ingredients have to be imported, dining out at a regular restaurant can be a costly affair, much less fine dining.

But Italian chef Davide Oldani doesn't agree, which is why he's on a mission to make fine dining an everyday affair, even in Singapore. At his restaurant FOO'D by Davide Oldani, set within Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall, a three-course lunch is priced at $45, and $52 for four courses. Dinner starts from $138 for five courses and $168 for seven courses. Not dirt cheap, but affordable enough to make a meal at FOO'D more than just an annual affair or a special occasion.
