Hitting The Mark
Wheat, water, wood and wax are the four key Ws that go into Maker's Mark's premium craft bourbon. At a special pop up to celebrate the Fourth of July, the American maker opens its doors to visitors to learn more about these four elements. Find out about the cooperage and barrel aging process of the bourbon in the Wood room, where you get to personalise your own wooden coasters. Enjoy red winter wheat doughnuts at the Wheat room, and find out more about the limestone water that goes into the bourbon. Finally, at the Wax room, guests get to watch their own bottles of bourbon being hand-dipped in red wax. Besides sampling Maker's Mark cocktails, there will be hearty American fare too.
The Maker's Mark's Pop-Up Bar is at Scotts 27 till Jul 6, from 6pm to 11pm.
