An action-packed year in store
WE are already nine days into a brand new year, and there's so much to look forward to in the world of sports in 2016. I'm practically salivating at the prospect of all the sporting action that's set to unfold over the next 12 months.
There's the Summer Olympics in Brazil this August, and football's European Championships taking place in France in June. These two events alone will be enough to whet any sports fan's appetite, but there's much more on the menu.
Here, in no particular order, is what will keep me rooted to my sofa and in front of my TV this year. Bring out the beer and popcorn; it's going to be one heck of a ride ahead.
