THE second round of the 2015 Business Times Corporate Golf League didn't just produce some great golf but a magical hole-in-one courtesy of Team Crane Boomers' Steve Lai. Dr Lai aced the eighth hole of Raffles Country Club's Lake Course to record his first Hole-In-One and win a S$56,000 Audemars Piguet Millenary 4101 Watch.
After the second round of the 2015 Business Times Corporate Golf League, Team Seagull Gayatri were again in familiar territory at the top of the league ladder. The score of 100 on countback was enough for them to be there with a total score of 208. Team Boustead and Team Citi did enough to maintain their second and third placing with a total score of 202 and 201 respectively. Bank of Singapore (OCBC) are in fourth place with 198 while The Crane Boomers (Tat Hong) round out the top five with 195.
Says Seagull Gayatri's team captain G Shanmugam: "While we didn't score extremely well, we managed to maintain our top position and we're happy. But we need to work harder to get more points. In the next round, we should get 110 points or more." As top team, each member won a Kota Permai Golf & Country Club green fee voucher.
