Surpassing all expectations
Team Boustead captain Adrian Chu is both relieved and jubilant after winning this year's event.
FOR Team Boustead captain Adrian Chu, winning this year's BT Corporate Golf League, presented by Audi Singapore, was a feeling of both relief and jubilation.
"Relief, because to be honest, we're not the strongest of teams in the League and we did not do a practice round on Serapong before the last game, so our team needed an average of 33-34 points per player to be safe, but we came back to the clubhouse feeling we were short of the target."
He adds: "Jubilation, because we started this year's League hoping to finish in the top 10 of the Open Category since we were in the bottom half of the A category last year, but we ended up surpassing our own expectations by a mile to become champions."
