IT'S bigger than a hatchback but it's not quite an estate. It's somewhere in the middle and it's called the Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan, or what VW refers to as a five-seater MPV or multi-purpose vehicle.
The Sportsvan is actually a Golf which has been stretched and pulled so that it is longer and taller than the usual Golf (it used to be called the Golf Plus).
This means the Sportsvan is bigger than a normal Golf, but still shorter than the Golf Variant estate.
