MUCH of the latest Audi A4 is brand new but it may be difficult to appreciate this because its look is so understated.

The ninth generation model gets a new platform architecture and new sheet metal.

But because the exterior styling is recognisably A4, subtle details such as how neatly the shut-lines blend into the crease lines are easily overlooked.
