Diesel power

The Porsche Macan S Diesel's combination of power and economy makes it special.

THEY both have three-litre V6 engines and they both cost about the same. So why would anyone choose the Porsche Macan S Diesel over the Porsche Macan S petrol-powered alternative?

A strong motivation could be the former's excellent low-end torque but relatively low fuel consumption and emissions.

The Macan S Diesel with a 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine consumes up to 6.3 litres of fuel per 100km, or 15.9km per litre, and emits up to 159g of carbon dioxide per km - not bad for a sports model.
