SPENDING an evening 70 floors up, sipping on mushroom broth and nibbling on A5 wagyu is as emotional an experience as sitting in the back of the new Lexus ES. Or so Borneo Motors Singapore feels.
The authorised Lexus distributor recently introduced the facelifted ES mid-sized limousine in a deliciously different way - guests were invited to its Leng Kee Road showroom for champagne - no less than Dom Perignon 2002 - before a surprise dinner invitation to Jaan restaurant at the Swissotel.
The current Lexus ES was launched here two years ago and has since undergone an extensive mid-lifecycle update. The nose is sharpened with new streamlined LED headlamps and a more prominent spindle grille.
