Big Screen Comeback
Cathay Cineplexes has curated a retrospective slate of 10 movies - seven local and three Taiwanese wuxia classics - in the month of August. Not only that, Pioneer and Merdeka Generation card-holders can watch these films for a special price of just S$1.
The homemade classics include four Jack Neo classics (Money No Enough, Long Long Time Ago, Long Long Time Ago 2, Wonderful! Liang Xi Mei), Royston Tan's hit musical 3688, Mark Lee's radio show crossover Make It Big Big, and Raymond Tan's overlooked coming-of-age drama Wayang Boy. For fans of Taiwanese sword-fighting epics, King Hu's Dragon Inn, A Touch of Zen, and Legend of the Mountain are all making a return to the big screen.
