Local retro-pop fans will never get to see the late George Michael 'live' in Singapore, but his music lives on and a new show celebrating his works is playing this weekend.
Faith & Freedom: The Music of George Michael is a 90-minute narrated show-cum-orchestral concert that weaves together some of his greatest hits with the stories behind them.
Michael - who died suddenly two Christmases ago - will be portrayed by Matt Allen, one of Perth's most sought after male vocalists and founder of the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts Gospel Choir. Supporting him are other vocal talents from Singapore and Down Under.
