ON any given day, Changi Exhibition Centre is in the boondocks, with only heavy vehicles plying Aviation Park Road which leads into it. But last Saturday evening, Guns N' Roses turned it into Paradise City for 50,000 fans; many of whom have waited decades to see the rock titans in the flesh and can now tick watching the band "live" off their bucket list.

To think that only about a year ago, nobody would have imagined frontman Axl Rose ever sharing the stage again with guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan after both walked out on their singer in the mid-90s.

But after more than two decades, they've put their differences aside and the (almost) original line-up - sans rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin and drummer Steven Adler - has reunited for a reunion tour they have tongue firmly in cheek christened Not In This Lifetime.
