Musician Inch Chua has always marched to the beat of her own drum. In 2014, Chua was one of 80 individuals per year selected to gain access to Antarctica. There in the world's coldest and driest continent, she spent her time contemplating her place on earth.
Commissioned by TheatreWorks, her new creative work is titled Til The End Of The World, We'll Meet In No Man's Land. She presents a scripted text alongside original songs that reflect her thoughts and emotions. The multi-sensory performance is experienced by each audience member through individual headphones, an experience further heightened through the work's olfactory effects and spatial experiments.
Directed by Okorn-Kuo Jing Hong, the work aims to create a fully-immersive encounter.
