Rock of Ages
The last time Metallica performed in Singapore was 2013 - some two decades after its first appearance here. But it's taken less than four years for the Grammy-winning rock gods to make a return visit, so get set to pay homage when they hit the stage on Jan 22. The 'intimate' gig at the Singapore Indoor Stadium is in support of their latest album, the critically acclaimed Hardwired... To Self-Destruct, and is part of their WorldWired
Tour 2107. Tickets from Sportshub. To 'warm-up' your eardrums, the annual St Jerome's Laneway Festival takes place on Jan 21 at Gardens by the Bay. On the bill are local dream pop legends Astreal, Aussie psychedelic act King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, and more. Tickets from Sistic and at the door.
