Paul Carroll designed pipes before starting his career in the auto industry.
PAUL Carroll always knew that he wanted to work with cars, but first, he had to design concrete pipes and beer storage tanks before he could get his dream job. Mr Carroll, who hails from Wellington, New Zealand, is the vice-president of Lexus Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for the development of the Lexus brand in the Asian region. The genial Kiwi is a petrolhead who realised he loved cars and bikes when he was just five years old.
