The run kicked off at the Singapore Sports Hub and drew over 9,000 participants.

This year marks the full-scale return of Singapore’s only all-women’s run since the pandemic, featuring six race categories and with runners between the ages of three and 82.

Khor Hock Seng, group chief executive officer, Great Eastern, said: “The Great Eastern Women’s Run is a celebration of female empowerment and female potential. This year, it continues to energise and engage women in their fitness journeys while raising funds for needy causes.”

Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law, was the guest of honour at the event. He and Khor presented the awards to the winners of the Elite 21.1 km Half-Marathon category.
